Pressure cook the grated carrots with a little water for five minutes.let the cooker to cool.remove the lid & mash well the carrots.add sugar.keep stirring in medium flame till the mixture becomes little thick.to this add ghee, fried cashews & raisins.when the mixture thickens add milkmaid. the mixture should roll without sticking to the sides of the pan.this is the right stage to remove the halwa from flame.add a pinch of cardamom powder. stir well and remove to a serving dish. garnish wi...
