Anna the typewriter's cheese pies (tyropitakia)

This is such and easy one and the taste is mmmmh - delicious! Perfect for parties, finger food, aperitif. You can replace the gruyere with another yellow cheese, but keep the feta in! For an extra twist, you can add some olives or dried tomato.

Feta and Tomato Creased Phyllo Cheese Pie (Patsavouropita) :) Feta and Tomato Creased Phyllo Cheese Pie (Patsavouropita) :)
This is the easiest Cheese Pie that anyone can make, even someone who is just starting out in the kitchen. I had some left over phyllo in the freezer, which I completely forgot about and found it this morning. 🙂 Took me a while to figure out what to do with such limited ingredients, tomatoes, feta and phyllo, but then I remembered a recipe my mom used to make with tomatoes and Feta cheese. 🙂There is always Feta Cheese in the refrigerator, (not original too expensive and hard to find, but there is something quite similar to Feta Cheese). and a few tomatoes on hand. This pie actually has the taste of Pizza and Greek Cheese Pie (Tyropitta) combined…quite different taste but ohhh so yummy to eat. Foodzesty -
Ham and Cheese Hand Pies Ham and Cheese Hand Pies
A savory hand pie filled with ham and cheese. I used swiss cheese today but any cheese is good and a flavored cream cheese is very creamy and delicious in these. You can freeze them once cooled and reheat in the microvave for a somewhat sofer crust but still very good! fenway -

Easy Cheese Stick Pies Easy Cheese Stick Pies
I made savoury pies with salt and pepper using frozen puff pastry for the first time. It went well with beer.I improved the recipe little by little and turned into this recipe. This is great for a parties. Tapenade pies are so popular!Pressing lightly with a roller after sprinkling cheese makes cheese stick to the puff pastry. If your puff pastry softens, it will be hard to work with. So leave in the fridge for a while.A tiny bit of Ichimi chili pepper powder gives more than enough punch. Recipe by noriran cookpad.japan -

Spinach Pie - Börek (Turkish Food) Spinach Pie - Börek (Turkish Food)
"Börek" is the generic name for Turkish pies. There's various kinds of these pies, but this is the most popular. In Turkey, they use flatbread, but in Japan, I make do with spring roll wrappers. The baking dish should be about the size of the spring roll wrappers, but to keep the egg mixture from boiling over, it's best to use a rather tall dish.Other than the spinach and cheese, you can also stuff this with fillings such as white cheese & parsley or ground meat & potato.
