Ingredients

  • 4Chicken drumsticks with skin
  • 4 TablespoonsOlive oil
  • 1 Teaspoonrosemary Dried
  • 1 Teaspoonthyme Dried
  • 1 Teaspoonchives Dried
  • 2 ClovesGarlic finely chopped
  • To TasteSalt
  • To TastePepper

    Combine herbs, garlic and olive oil for the marinade.

  2. 2

    Put about 1 tsp of marinade per drumstick under the skin and massage it in. I didn't let the chicken marinate because I was in a hurry, but ideally let the herbs soak in for about 20 min.

  3. 3

    Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees C. Place the drumsticks skin side up in a greased baking pan. Add salt and pepper and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Baste with remaining marinade after around 15 min.

  4. 4

    Broil for another 5 min to brown the chicken

  5. 5

    Serve on a bed of mashed potato with steamed vegetables on the side.
