Ingredients

  • 1/2 lblasgna noodles (9 noodles)
  • 1/2 lbground italian sausage
  • 1egg (slightly beaten)
  • 8 ozricotta
  • 2 cupmozzarella (shredded)
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspblack pepper
  • 1/4 tspgarlic powder
  • 1/4 tsponion powder
  • 1/4 tspitalian seasoning
  • 24 ozpasta sauce (I enjoy Hunts Traditional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook noodles according to package directions

  2. 2

    Crumble and brown sausage. Stir in pasta sauce and set aside

  3. 3

    Preheat oven to 375*

  4. 4

    In medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, egg & seasonings

  5. 5

    Grease a medium baking dish. Add 1/3 cup of sauce to bottom of pan

  6. 6

    Cover bottom of pan with 3 noodles

  7. 7

    Cover noodles with 1/3 cheese. Then top with 1/3 sauce

  8. 8

    Repeat layers 2 more times (noodles, cheese then sauce)

  9. 9

    Top with remaining mozzarella

  10. 10

    Cover and bake for 30 minutes

  11. 11

    Uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes

Tip: directions were vague, but an 8x8 baking dish worked for me.
