This is a staple dish from South India. Usually served with Sambar and Coconut Chutney. The same batter can be used in cooking Idly.

Steps

Soak the rice, lentils & fenugreek for about 3-4 hours.

Drain and blend the rice in a mixed till smooth.

Add salt to the taste and leave the batter covered for almost 12 hours to ferment.

Heat a tawa, grease with oil. Spread the batter with a big spoon. Can big enough till 5"-6" diameter.

Cook till a light brown. Cook the other side also.

Serve hot!
