Boil peas and potatoes mash and mash it, chop and grate the chillies and ginger.

Add oil, mustard and cumin seeds and asafoetida in a pan for splutter, add chilli, ginger and peas, roast for a minute, then add mashed potatoes along with salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, sugar, lemon juice and fresh coriander. Mix well.

For outer layer... Add water salt and ghee in a pan, when water boils add rice flour and mix. Switch off the gas and let it sizzle for 10 minutes. After that knead well and make smooth dough. Divide in to equal portions.

Take one portion of the dough flatten a little and fill the potato mixture and close it. Make remain portion. Steam all the pitha for 6-7 minutes then let it cool down.

For last tadka.. Cut the pitha in a half add oil, mustard seed and turmeric powder in a pan, add cut pitha in a oil and mix gently. Pitha are ready. Serve with red chilli chutney.
Tips
1) don't add more water while making rice flour dough.
2) while steaming the pitha, apply oil on each pitha to avoid sticking.
