In a bowl add ½ cup water and add jaggery. Let it dissolve completely. Filter and keep aside.

In a bowl add all the ingredients together and with the help of jaggery water knead a soft dough.

Keep aside for 20 min covered.

Now divide the dough into 4 and make balls. Roll into 1 cm thick and cut square or diamond shapes.

Deep fry until golden in colour. Cool and store in airtight container.
Tips
Ensure the oil is not too hot to prevent the khurmi from burning. Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of jaggery.
