Ingredients

  • Corn tortillas
  • Vegetable oil
  • 10 1/2 ozground beef (about 300 grams)
  • 4tomatoes
  • Chopped onion
  • Shredded Manchego cheese
  • Salt and pepper

    Cut the tortillas into triangles and fry them in vegetable oil. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the ground beef in oil. Once browned, add the chopped onion and season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

    On a greased baking sheet, layer the fried tortilla chips, sprinkle with ground beef, chopped tomato, and shredded cheese. Add more salt if needed. Repeat the layers as desired.

  4. 4

    Bake at 350°F (175°C) until the cheese starts to melt, then increase the temperature to 420°F (215°C) to brown the cheese and make it crispy. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
