  • 2eggs separated
  • 2 cupsbuttermilk
  • 3 teaspoonsbaking powder
  • 2 tablespoonssugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonssoda
  • 4 tablespoonsmelted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoonssalt
  • 21/2 cupsflour

    Sift dry ingredients together

    Beat egg yolks add flour and buttermilk alternately

    Add butter

    Beat egg whites till stiff fold into batter.
