This is half of Japanese style and Western style. The flavor of miso sauce and cheese are great! I think. You had better add some vegetables you like or seasonal foods. Adjust the taste of miso sauce to your taste!

Ingredients

  1. 2~3 eggplants (cut into bite sized pieces)
  2. 1onion (cut into 5~7mm thin slices)
  3. 5cm piece Japanese leek (chopped)
  4. 150~200g ground pork
  5. cheese (as much as you want)
  6. salt and pepper (optional)
  7. miso sauce: (mix in advance)
  8. 2 tbspmiso
  9. 2 1/2 Tbspsugar
  10. 2 tbspsake
  11. 2 tbspmirin

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Stir fry ground pork over medium heat in a pan until it changes color. Add onion, Japanese leek and cook until wilted. Add eggplants and keep stir frying until cooked.

    Pour the miso sauce and cook until the flavor blended and the liquid is almost gone. Season with salt and pepper (optional)

  3. 3

    Arrange them on the plate and sprinkle cheese on top and toast in the toaster until it becomes golden brown.
