One of my friends told me a pumpkin soup recipe. It is really nice and tasty! So this was the side dish of the soup!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Remove chicken's skin and salt the chicken. Keep the skin (we'll use it later).
- 2
Boil the water and put the chicken in it. Cook it with a low flame till it is done. Cool it down for a while and tear it into fine pieces.
Note: keep the chicken in its broth till it becomes cool enough to make it moist. - 3
Arrange sliced lettuce, cucumber, boiled egg and chicken on a plate.
- 4
Put these • marked ingredients into a cup and stir it. If you don't have sesame paste, use whole or ground sesame instead.
- 5
Heat a fried pan and fry the chicken's skin till it becomes very crispy. The skin has oil in it, so you don't have to add oil at all. And be careful, it pops!
- 6
Pour some of the oil on the salad, cut the crispy skin and put it on the salad. Enjoy it with the dressing!

Chicken Salad Ochazuke Chicken Salad Ochazuke
I don't really like eating when it's hot but this chicken chazuke is packed full of nutrients and the wasabi gives it a refreshing spiciness.Pour the soup stock over the salad just before you eat it. When you steam cook the chicken, it will be a little salty so feel free to adjust the seasonings marked with ☆. The flavour should be even lighter than that of clear soup. (I think a splash of soy sauce should be sufficient). Fill this salad out with seasonal vegetables or whatever vegetables you like. Recipe by commeline cookpad.japan -
