Heyyy so this recipe is, word-for-word, in a Food Wars cookbook by Logan Lee that I got as a gift. I searched online to see if anybody else has done it so I could get clarity on how the second step works (why put oil in the pan if we're throwing in the apple juice right away? Was I supposed to cook the onions before the juice is added in?). Low and behold, this is verbatim the recipe. Considering that book is copyright 2021 and there are comments here from 5 years ago, I assume this recipe was stolen for the book. Thought you should know. Also it hilariously states that this makes 1 serving, but I assume one person isn't meant to eat 8 slices of bacon.
