Ingredients

  1. 1 TspBaking powder
  2. 1/4 TspSalt
  3. 1 Tspchilli powder
  4. 1 1/2 TbspCoriander powder
  5. 1 Cupgram flour / Chickpea flour
  6. 1-1 1/2 cupwater
  7. above ingredients are for batter-
  8. 1 TspSalt
  9. 2Green chillies
  10. Halfa lemon juice
  11. 1 TspGaram Masala
  12. 1 TspCurry powder
  13. above ingredients are for Marinade-
  14. 5Small Tilapia fish cut up
  15. Oil to fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Add in your Baking powder, Gram flour, chilli powder, coriander powder and 1/4 tsp salt into a bowl. (BATTER INGREDIENTS.)

    Whisk to combine dry ingredients

    Now gradually add water until not too thick but not too thin.

    In a separate bowl, add in ingredients for marination with fish aswell.

    Leave to the side for 15 mins at least.

    Now add your marinated fish into batter

    Place into heated oil. Until golden.

    When golden, place into bowl lined with tissue to drain any excess oil.

    Let it cool for a few minutes before serving!
