You can always do this at home ,and it comes our just fine
Steps
- 1
Place a large pan(if you don't have a large pan use a wide sufuria) oh high heat and add a few tablespoons of oil. Swirl this to oil every bit of the bottom of the pan.
- 2
Let this heat up until it starts to make smoke then carefully place the Ribs on the pan or your sufuria with the fleshly part down (first separate each rib then cut extra fleshy parts into bite size pieces). Do not over crowd the pan.
- 3
Leave these ribs sear on high heat undistributed until they get a nice brown colour on the bottom side then turn. Keep turning until all sides have acquired o rich brown colour.
- 4
Now add the other pieces and immediately add in the soy sauce mixture we prepare (mix the sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, crushed ginger and garlic, black pepper, the chilli powder or fresh chillies combine this until the sugar dissolves)
- 5
Proceed to add in the water and the chopped onions. if your pan is not big enough you can add half the water then as soon as it dries you add the rest. Let it boil for for about 15 min. LOWER THE HEAT TO MEDIUM LOW AND COVER.
- 6
Cook this for the next one hour turning the pieces every 20 minutes. After 1 hr the pieces will be thickened completely and beautiful coats the ribs.
- 7
Add the dhania mix and serve. You can serve it with ugali or just enjoy it as it us. Bon Appetite.
