Today I made a bougatsa recipe from Realfood, mostly because it was described as very easy—and it was—but even more so, it tasted heavenly.

Place the phyllo sheets as they are into the baking pan without greasing the pan or the sheets.

Pour the melted butter over the phyllo.

Bake at 350°F (180°C) for about 30 minutes (depending on your oven) until the phyllo is crisp and golden.

Whisk together the milk, sugar, and eggs, then pour the mixture over the partially baked phyllo.

Continue baking until the custard sets, about 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
