Ingredients

  1. 1little olive oil
  2. 500 gjumbo or extra large shrimps
  3. 1onion (dry) finely chopped
  4. 3 clovesgarlic, finely chopped
  5. 2peppers (green) finely chopped
  6. 2ripe tomatoes, finely chopped or 1 can finely chopped tomatoes
  7. 70 mlouzo
  8. salt, pepper
  9. 1 tspsugar
  10. 1little parsley, finely chopped
  11. feta cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Place the oil in the frying pan and over heat.

    When it heats, add the garlic, pepper and onion and when they get translucent, add the shrimp.

    Once they get golden brown (on both sides) stir in the ouzo.

    Add the tomato with the sugar and the salt end pepper (according to taste).

    Cook over moderate heat until the sauce thickens.

    When it is done, add the feta cheese and the parsley and serve.
