Pigeon Pea (Aci shuru)

I grew and met my grand parents farming and eating pigeon pea, which the northern part of the country call aci shuru. I want to believe other parts of this country know this simple and delicious recipe with different names. Pigeon pea varies, we have the white type, red, and the one with multi color. Mine is the white one. Just remembered my grand parents today.
