In a bowl, combine the ground beef with all the ingredients above except the tomato juice and garlic. Mix well by hand to blend, making sure the spices are evenly distributed. Shape the mixture into balls.

Place the meatballs over very low heat and cook until the meat releases its juices and is cooked through.

Add the tomato juice, garlic, and a little more of the same spices. Let simmer together for about 30 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serve with rice with vermicelli on a platter.
