Lauki ke kofte (bottle gourd curry)

For Kofta: Peel and Grate bottle gourd and let it rest some time. Strain all the water and keep aside to use in gravy. Add besan and mix well. Add 1/2 tsp coriander powder, salt and chili as per taste.

Heat oil in a deep pan for frying kofta. On medium heat, take a spoonful of mixture and fry till golden brown on both sides.

Make kofta with rest of the mix in any size or shape as you like.

For Gravy : Grind Onion, In a Pan heat oil and add onion. Fry till onin changes color.

Grind Tomato, add it to onion with remaining spices. Keep stirring continuously till oil starts to separate. Do not let it stick to bottom.

Add milk and let it boil. Add water and let the gravy cook for 3-4 min. Add Koftas in gravy and boil for 2-3 min more.

Kofta Curry is ready to be served garnish with Coriander leaves and serve.
