  • 2 cupsrice
  • 1small tin tomatoes
  • 2tatashe
  • 4fresh pepper
  • 1onions
  • 1cksp veg oil
  • 3knorr cube
  • to tastesalt
  • 1 tspcurry powder
  • pinchthyme

    Heat up rice and once its almost tender turn off heat, wash and set aside

  2. 2

    Blend tatashe, pepper and onions and set aside

  3. 3

    Heat up pot and pour in oil once its hot add blended paste with a dash of salt and allow it fry; once the water is draining out, add tin tomatoes paste and stir continuously for about 7 to 10minutes

  4. 4

    Add curry, knorr cube, thyme, salt and stir in little water before adding the rice

  5. 5

    Cook rice till water dries out and the rice is tender; turn off heat and serve with chicken and fried plantain
