Ingredients

  • 1 lbground italian sausage
  • 1/2 lbsmoked bacon
  • 3 cupchopped kale
  • 1 mediumonion chopped
  • 2 clovepeeled and crushed garlic
  • 2 can14.5 oz. chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 quartwater, less for creamier soup
  • 1 cupheavy whipping cream
  • 2 largerusset potatoes cubed

Steps

  1. 1

    brown sausage and Bacon, drain the grease, and crumble them into small pieces

  2. 2

    add together the water, chicken broth, potatoes, onion, and garlic, and heat on medium high heat until potatoes are tender

  3. 3

    add the sausage and bacon and simmer for 10th minutes

  4. 4

    add the cream and kale, do not let the soup boil after this point

  5. 5

    salt and pepper to taste

  6. 6

    heat thoroughly and enjoy
