The best naan, I ve ever tasted. I made different versions such as garlic naan, butter naan, cinnamon sugar naan, chat Masala naan, ghee naan and plain... everything was tasty... we forgot the butter chicken which accompanied it... :ohyeaah

The best naan, I ve ever tasted. I made different versions such as garlic naan, butter naan, cinnamon sugar naan, chat Masala naan, ghee naan and plain... everything was tasty... we forgot the butter chicken which accompanied it... :ohyeaah

In a large bowl pour half cup warm water add 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon yeast.

After 10 minutes, the water will look frothy, add 1 beaten egg, salt, sugar, curd and milk.

Then slowly add the flour and knead for 8 to 10 minutes. add ghee or butter and knead until soft..

Place in a well oiled bowl and cover with a damp muslin cloth and let it rise for an hour.

After an hour, punch down the dough and make golf sized Balls and keep it in a tray and leave for 30 minutes. cover with the damp cloth.

Now preheat the skillet and add minced garlic to the balls( optional) roll it super thin and put in skillet( u can cut it into triangle If u wish) close with a lid and leave for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes, there ll be bubbles on the Naan. Apply butter on the uncooked side n overturn. Use only medium heat.Leave for 2 minutes and remove from skillet.

Serve with Gravy or eat alone...
