Sparkling White Sangria

Ingredients

1 cuplight corn syrup (I use Karo)
1orange, sliced
1lemon, sliced
1lime, sliced
1/2 cuporange flavored liqueur
1bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (this recipe calls for dry, but I don't always use a real dry white wine)
2 tbsplemon juice
1bottle (12 ounces) club soda or seltzer, chilled
1Additional fresh fruit (optional) I use white and purple grapes sometimes.

Steps

In a large pitcher combine corn syrup, orange, lemon, and lime slices and liqueur.

Let stand 20 - 30 minuts, stirring occasionally.

Stir in wine and lemon juice

Refrigerate. Just before serving, add soda and ice cubes.

If desired, garnish with additional fruit.

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
