Ingredients

  • 2chicken breast, sliced thinly
  • 3 clovegarlic, chopped
  • 1onion, chopped
  • 2star anise
  • 2bay leaf
  • 1pepper
  • 3 tbspsoy sauce
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • 1 cuppotato, chopped
  • 24sheets of puff pastry squares
  • 1egg, beaten
  • 1/3 cupcup sugar, depends on how sweet you want it

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the ingredients except potatoes and puff pastry.Add 1/2 cup water.

  2. 2

    Slow cook for 30 minutes (add water if it dries out).

  3. 3

    Add the potatoes. Continue cooking until potatoes are cooked.

  4. 4

    Then after, remove the star anise and bay leaf.

  5. 5

    In the muffin tray, lay the puff pastry sheets down in each muffin cups(edges overlapping). Pour in the chicken filling and press down slowly. Cover all top with another pastry sheet. Seal all the edges.

    Brush the top with the beaten egg.

    You can make 12 mini pies out of it.

  8. 8

    Bake in 350°F for 20-30 minutes or until it turns golden brown.

these are great! made mine with olive oil pastry as had no butter in my fridge. will make again and maybe add a little bacon.
