
Corn Spoonbread Mix In A Pint Jar

Steps

Place first 5 ingredients into a medium bowl. Blend with a whisk. Place mixture into a zipper sandwich bag.

Place bag into a wide mouth pint size canning jar. (Use a new jar - not one that has ever been canned in or cooked in before.)

Place can of corn into jar on top of mix. Screw lid onto jar.

Decorate jar and attach a recipe card with the following instructions.

Remove contents of jar. Empty mix into a medium bowl.

Add 1 egg, 1 tablespoon oil and corn (undrained). Mix well.

Spray inside of jar with cooking spray.

Place batter into jar. DO NOT PLACE LID ON JAR.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. (To bake, place jar in a small shallow baking dish to keep it balanced in the oven.) Use hot pads to remove from oven.

Scoop from jar to serve. Serve warm.
