Ingredients

  1. 3 cupwheat flour
  2. 1 cupsemolina
  3. 1/2 tea spooncardamon powder
  4. 1 tea spoonsesame seeds
  5. 2 cupjaggery (soaked in 2 cup water for 3-4 hours)
  6. 1 cupghee
  7. as neededrefined oil for deep fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Take wheat flour, add semolina, cardamom powder, sesame seeds, ghee and mix well. Now knead a tight dough with the help of jaggery water as per requirement.

  2. 2

    Keep it aside covered with a wet cloth for half an hour. Knead again properly to a smooth dough. Now make balls of the dough and roll them with the help of rolling pin.

  3. 3

    Cut with a sharp knife horizontally and then vertically. Now heat oil in a pan. deep fry them on a low flame till brown in color. Tasty shakarpara are ready to eat.
