Ingredients

  • 1 cuplight brown sugar
  • 1/2 cupmelted butter
  • 2 tbspKaro syrup (light corn syrup)
  • 1 loafbread of your choice (French, white bread etc)
  • 5eggs
  • 2 tspsugar
  • 1 tspvanilla flavoring

Steps

  1. 1

    Melt brown sugar, butter, and Karo syrup (do not boil)

  2. 2

    pour in the bottom of a casserole dish

  3. 3

    put bread tightly over the brown sugar mixture in the dish

  4. 4

    mix the rest of the ingredients well and pour over bread

  5. 5

    cover tightly and refrigerate overnight

  6. 6

    bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned
