Ingredients

15 servings
  • Falafel
  • 400 gramsChickpeas
  • 2 tbspFlour
  • 2 tbspCurry powder
  • 2Onions
  • 4Garlic Cloves
  • 1Celery
  • 1Scallion
  • 1Salt, Black pepper, Parsley, Cumin, Coriander
  • White Sauce
  • 1Greek/Plain Yogurt
  • 1Same amount of Mayonnaise
  • 1Garlic powder
  • 1White Pepper
  • 1Parsley, oregano and salt
  • 1Half tbsp. Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook chickpeas, drain and let them cool

  2. 2

    Cut garlic cloves and scallion and mix with parsley, cumin, coriander and flour

  3. 3

    Cut and sautee onions and celery until soft. Add curry and mix well

  4. 4

    Put everything in a blender and process. Add salt and pepper accordingly

  5. 5

    Let it cool in the fridge for an hour

  6. 6

    Make about 15 ping-pong sized balls and lightly flatten them

  7. 7

    Roll over flour

  8. 8

    Freeze them or cook in the oven turning them until golden

  9. 9

    White Sauce: Mix all together and store in the fridge

  10. 10

    Great to eat it in Arabian bread with lettuce, tomato, onions, scallion..
