Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupbutter
  • 1 stalkcelery chopped
  • 1 cupchopped onion
  • 1/2 cupflour
  • 1 can (13 oz)evaporated milk
  • 2egg yolks
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspred pepper
  • 1/4 tspblack pepper
  • 1 lblump crabmeat
  • 1/2 lbgrated cheddar cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven 375°F.

  2. 2

    Saute onions & celery in butter til wilted.

  3. 3

    Blend in flour.

  4. 4

    Pour in milk gradually stirring constantly.

  5. 5

    Add egg yolks and seasonings and cook for 5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Add crabmeat & cheese and blend well.

  7. 7

    Put in greased casserole dish and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
