Ingredients

  1. 1/2 tspfennel seed powder roasted
  2. 1/2 tspblack salt
  3. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  5. 2 tbsppowdered sugar
  6. 1 cuprice flakes
  7. 1/4 cupgroundnuts
  8. 3 tbspcashew nuts
  9. 3 tbspraisins
  10. 1/2 cupgreen plain boondi
  11. 1/2 cuppotato chips for garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix well roasted fennel seeds powder, black salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, powdered sugar in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Deep fry rice flakes in medium hot oil using a strainer.

  3. 3

    Strain out all the oil and remove it in a bowl lined with tissue paper.

  4. 4

    Sprinkle mixed masala on the fried rice flakes.

  5. 5

    Mix well with everything.

  6. 6

    Follow the same process for groundnuts, cashew nuts, raisins.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle masala mix well everytime an ingredient is fried and mix well everything.

  8. 8

    Get rid of the tissue paper and mix well and the ingredients together once again.

  9. 9

    Let everything cool and store chivda in an airtight container.
