Cheesy Garlic Minis

We bought the sliced bread on clearance because I really like it and needed some new ways of preparing it. This is simple literally only takes about 7 minutes (including baking time), and can be served as a side dish or a snack.

We bought the sliced bread on clearance because I really like it and needed some new ways of preparing it. This is simple literally only takes about 7 minutes (including baking time), and can be served as a side dish or a snack.
Steps
- 1
Place sliced baguette pieces on a cookie sheet, a few inches apart, depending on the size of the pieces you should be able to get about 19 pieces on one sheet. Preheat oven to 350.
- 2
Drizzle the olive oil over each piece evenly, it's okay to get oil on the pan (in fact it's kind of necessary to crisp the bottom.)
- 3
With the olive oil that got on the pan, gently dip the pieces into it, rubbing around slightly to ensure it gets all over the bottom.
- 4
Spread the cheesy garlic seasoning over the tops of the oiled bread, evenly with as much or as little as you like.
- 5
Now, sprinkle the tops with as much cheese as you'd like (any cheese will work for this really, so long as it melts.) I usually cover the whole top in a mini mountain of it. Place in the oven, for 5 minutes (maybe a little more depending on how crispy you like it.)
