Ingredients

  1. 28 oz Pillsbury Crescent Pastry Sheets
  2. 1 lbSliced Swiss Cheese
  3. 1 1/4 lbSliced Deli Corned Beef
  4. 14 ozSauerkraut rinsed & drained
  5. 2/3 cupThousand Island Salad Dressing
  6. 1Egg White

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Unroll 1 pastry & press into a greased 13x9x2 in baking pan.

    Bake at 375° for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

  3. 3

    Place half of the cheese on top of the pastry.

  4. 4

    Top with all of the corned beef.

  5. 5

    Mix Salad dressing & sauerkraut in a bowl then spread over the corned beef.

    Top with remaining cheese.

  7. 7

    Press the 2nd pastry across the top.

    Quickly whisk the egg white in a small bowl then brush over the pastry.

    Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes.

This is excellent! My wife does not like Sauerkraut, but she lived this recipe. Very simple. We will make other kinds of sandwich bakes! Thanks for this recipe.
