Easy Mini Pear Pies

Ingredients

  1. 1 packagesrefridgerated biscuits (7.5 oz)
  2. 1 mediumpear, chopped
  3. 1 tspbutter
  4. 1/2 tspvanilla
  5. 1/2 tsplemon zest
  6. 1/4 tspnutmeg
  7. 1/2 tspcinnamon
  8. 1 tspcornstarch
  9. 1 largeegg, beaten with a splash of water
  10. 1 tspsugar
  11. 4 tbsppowdered sugar
  12. 1/2 tsplemon zest

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Melt butter in small saucepan or skillet.

  3. 3

    Add pear, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, corn starch and lemon zest. Simmer over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and cool slightly.

    Roll out each biscuit into about a 3 inch round. Place 1 reason of pear mixture on each round.

    Fold over dough and crimp edges with a fork.

  6. 6

    Place on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Prick each pie with a knife to allow for steam to escape during cooking process.

    Brush egg wash over each pie and sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. 9

    Mix powdered sugar, zest and a splash of water to form glaze. Drizzle over each pie. Serve warm.
