Ingredients

  1. 16 ozloaf plain potato bread
  2. 4 cupno sodium chicken stock (I used homemade)
  3. 1 cupcooked small diced/shredded chicken &/or parts
  4. 2 tspcelery salt
  5. 3 tsppoultry seasoning
  6. 2 tbspdried parsely
  7. 1/4 tsppepper
  8. 1salt to taste
  9. 1 1/2 largeonions (small diced)
  10. 3 stickcelery small diced
  11. 8 tbspbutter

Steps

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Cube bread into bite sized pieces. Lay pieces out in a single layer on a parchment lined cookie/baking sheet.

    Bake cubes for 10-15 min. Toss cubes around and bake for an additional 10-15 min or until crunchy. Set aside.

    Increase oven temp to 375°F

  5. 5

    In a medium sauce pan, melt butter.

  6. 6

    Add onion and celery and cook until tender. About 5-10 min. Stirring frequently and watch well so butter doesnt burn.

    Once veggies are tender, add chicken, broth/stock and seasonings. Wisk well.

    Spray a 9x13 deep baking dish with nonstick spray.

    Place bread cubes in baking dish.

    Spoon stock mix over bread cubes making sure u distribute evenly getting a little broth on all top cubes of bread.

    Cover with foil and bake 15-20 minutes or until heated through.

    Hints n tips! :)

  14. 14

    For a sage flavor add 1tsp. Sage.

  15. 15

    You can use vegetable stock insteak of chicken.

  16. 16

    If u want meatless replace chicken with fine shredded carrot and cook with the onion.
