  1. 1 1/4 lbground beef
  2. 1 mediumonion, chopped
  3. 2 tbspgarlic chopped
  4. 45 ozRagu traditional sauce
  5. 1 1/2 tspworcestershire sauce
  6. 1/2 tspchopped parsley
  7. 1/2 tspbasil chopped
  8. 1/2 tsporegano
  9. 12 ozbow tie pasta
  10. 8 ozphiladelphia cream cheese
  11. 1 eacheggs
  12. 1/4 tspsalt
  13. 1/4 tsppepper
  14. 16 ozfresh mozzarella
  15. 1/4 cupgrated parmesan cheese
  16. 1topping- 1/2 cup parmesan and 1 teaspoon basil

  1. 1

    Cook beef, oregano, onion and garlic over medium heat in large sauce pan til meat is no longer pink. Drain fat

  2. 2

    Add Ragu sauce, parsley, basil, worcestershire sauce and 1/2 teaspoon oregano. Cover and simmer with meat for 1 hr, stirring occasionally.

    Cook bow tie pasta aldente and drain

  4. 4

    In large bowl combine cream cheese, egg, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Grease 13 x 9 glass baking dish, spread 1 cup meat sauce, top with layer of 1/2 the pasta, 1/2 the cheese mixture and 8oz of sliced fresh mozzarella log.

  6. 6

    Repeat layers.

  7. 7

    Top with remaining meat sauce, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and oregano. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, uncovered.

  8. 8

    Let set for 30 minutes, then serve.
