Motichanna is a fried spicy tea time snack made from gram flour. Loved by all.

Steps

In a big bowl mix gram flour,grinded chillies, ajwain, salt,hing and baking soda.

Add oil and water to make sticky dough.paste like consistency.

In a kadhai heat the oil for frying on a medium flame. Place a perforated spoon (jara) on the kadhai.Put some dough on the spoon and press it so that the batter falls into the oil forming small straight sticks Motichanna.

Repeat the process till the batter is finished.The. Fry the Motichanna in batches.

Deep fry the Motichanna's in hot oil till light golden brown and crispy.

Remove on an absorbent paper to drain excess oil.

Allow to cool and store in an air tight container.
