Soak the red chillies in the hot water for 10 minutes.

Make it into smooth paste with salt.

In a frying pan add oil, azafoetida powder and allow mustard to crack.

Add the red chilli paste, tamarind paste and add fenugreek powder.
- 5
Boil for 15 minutes. Ready to taste. Can be kept for a month.

Need not be refrigerated.
