Sourdough Discard Pancakes

Simply made with sourdough Discard or sourdough starter fed or unfed. Easily halfed for a smaller recipe. Family favorite.

Ingredients

  1. 2 csourdough discard
  2. 2eggs
  3. 1 tspbaking soda
  4. 1 tspbaking powder
  5. 2 tbssugar
  6. 1 tspvanilla extract
  7. Pinchsalt
  8. Splashmilk or water

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Whisk eggs and sugar until combined.

  2. 2

    Add starter and the rest of the ingredients. (except milk/water) Mix well.

  3. 3

    If the batter is too thick add a splash of milk or water until you get a "pancake" consistency.

  4. 4

    Ladle ¼ c portions into hot greased skillet and cook on med low about 2-3 mins on each side. A small gravy ladle is usually the perfect size for this.
