I've been wanting to make this classic Tex-Mex dish for a while, and after reading several recipes and doing a couple of tests, here is my version of the famous Chili con Carne!

Cooking Instructions

Start by making a sauté with the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and carrot, all finely chopped.

Add the meat, let it cook well, and then add the tomato, cut into irregular pieces.

Add the crushed tomatoes, spices, and beans. Pour in a little water, and let it reduce a bit.

If you want it thicker, add less water and let it reduce more. I prefer it with some broth. Once the heat is off, add chopped cilantro and let it rest.

Serve it however you like: with rice, nachos, guacamole, and pico de gallo...

You can eat it with some fajitas or tacos...

Or add grated cheese and broil. Enjoy!
