Shoestring Fries
If you like your fries super thin and crunchy then these are for you.
Steps

Peel the potatoes.

Using a vegetable grater, grate the potatoes.

Rinse in water. Then transfer to a salad spinner.

Heat the deep fat fryer.

Try drying the potatoes as much as possible, use kitchen paper towels if needs be.

Next sprinkle with a pinch of salt.

Carefully drop the potatoes in the oil. Cook in batches for 2-4 minutes approximately or until they have become golden in colour and crunchy.

Place on a tray lined with paper towels.

Serve as a side.

Use the same method to make potato chips.
