Ingredients

  • 1 cupsoft butter
  • 1 1/2 cupsugar
  • 2eggs
  • 2 3/4 cupflour
  • 2 tspcream of tartar
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 2 tbspcinnamon-for topping
  • 2 tbspsugar-for topping

Steps

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    Cream butter and sugar

  3. 3

    Add eggs and beat in

  4. 4

    Sift together all other ingredients and slowly add to mixture, beating well as you go

  5. 5

    Mix sugar and cinnamon in small bowl for topping

  6. 6

    Roll into balls and roll in sugar/cinnamon then place on lightly greased baking sheet

  7. 7

    Bake for 8 minutes

This is an awesome snickerdoodle recipe. Ive made them at least 5 x'snand even changed the recipe just a bit and added a tablespoon of fresh lrmon zest, delicious!
