Ingredients

  • 51 ozcan of sea watch chopped clams
  • 4 slicebacon
  • 1 cupdiced onion
  • 1 cupdiced celery
  • 3 tbspflour
  • 3 cuppeeled and diced potato
  • 1/2 quartheavy cream
  • 3 tbspbutter
  • salt
  • ground black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Drain clams and save the juice

  2. 2

    Saute bacon

  3. 3

    Remove bacon and leave the bacon grease in the pan

  4. 4

    Add butter to bacon grease

  5. 5

    Saute onion and celery

  6. 6

    Slowly add flour stirring constantly for 3 minutes

  7. 7

    Add potatoes and clam juice simmer until potatoes are tender

  8. 8

    Add clams and cream

  9. 9

    Simmer until hot

  10. 10

    Add salt and pepper
