1 cupold fashioned Oatmeal
Creamed Ingredients
1 cupwhite sugar
1 cupbrown sugar
1 stickbutter
2eggs
Dry Sifted ingredients
1 1/3 cupflour
1 tspcinnamon
1 tspbaking soda
1/2 tspsalt
4
1/2 tspvanilla
FROSTING
6 tbspmelted butter
2/3 cupbrown sugar
1/4 cupcream
1 cupmoist coconut
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cupchopped nuts

Pour boiling water over Oatmeal and let stand

Cream together

Sift

Add dry ingredients to creamed ingredients

Add Oatmeal mixture to the batter

Bake 325 for 30 minutes

FROSTING: combine and spread over warm cake. Brown lightly under broiler
