Oatmeal mixture
1 1/4 cupboiling water
1 cupold fashioned Oatmeal
Creamed Ingredients
1 cupwhite sugar
1 cupbrown sugar
1 stickbutter
2eggs
Dry Sifted ingredients
1 1/3 cupflour
1 tspcinnamon
1 tspbaking soda
1/2 tspsalt
4
1/2 tspvanilla
FROSTING
6 tbspmelted butter
2/3 cupbrown sugar
1/4 cupcream
1 cupmoist coconut
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cupchopped nuts

Pour boiling water over Oatmeal and let stand

Cream together

Sift
4

Add dry ingredients to creamed ingredients

Add Oatmeal mixture to the batter

Bake 325 for 30 minutes

FROSTING: combine and spread over warm cake. Brown lightly under broiler
