Ingredients

  1. 2 lbground beef
  2. 1 lbground pork or ground sausage
  3. 2/3 cuptoasted breadcrumbs
  4. 1egg
  5. 2/3 cupbaby carrots; minced
  6. 2/3 cupcelery; minced
  7. 1 1/3 cuponion; minced
  8. 1bell pepper; small dice
  9. 2jalapenos; minced
  10. 6 clovegarlic; minced
  11. 1 tbspginger; peeled and finely minced
  12. 3 tbsppaprika
  13. 2 tbsponion powder
  14. 2 tbspgarlic powder
  15. 2 tbsptoasted sesame seeds
  16. 1 tbsplemon peel seasoning
  17. 1/4 cupsoy sauce
  18. 3 tbspWorcestershire sauce
  19. 2 tbspvegetable oil
  20. 1 tbspsesame oil
  21. 1salt and white pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Saute veggies in a large saute pan with both oils. Add a pinch of salt. Add garlic when veggies are almost tender. Saute until garlic is fragrant. Cool down veggies.

    Combine meat, cooled off veggies, and remaining ingredients. Mix thoroughly. Roast at 300° for approximately one hour or until thermometer reaches 155°

  3. 3

    Variations; Bacon, mustard, wasabi, horseradish, lemongrass, cilantro, parsley, scallions

  4. 4

    Try glazing with Hoisin or other sauces approximately 5 minutes before meatloaf is done.
