Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbboneless sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch strips
  • 3 1/2 tbspflour
  • 1/4 cupbutter
  • 1 cuponion, chopped
  • 1 can(10 1/2 oz) condensed beef bouillon
  • 1 tbspWorcestershire
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1/2 tspdry mustard
  • 2 tbsptomato paste
  • 1 cupsour cream
  • 1 pintschopped mushrooms
  • 1 lbegg noodles

Steps

  1. 1

    Dredge steak strips with flour; reserve remaining flour

  2. 2

    Brown strips in melted butter in 12-inch skillet

  3. 3

    Add onion and cook 3-4 minutes

  4. 4

    Remove meat and onion from skillet

  5. 5

    Blend reserved flour into pan drippings in skillet

  6. 6

    Cook over medium heat 1 minute, stirring constantly

  7. 7

    Stir in beef bouillon and worcestershire.

  8. 8

    Stirring constantly, cook until thickened

  9. 9

    Stir in salt, mustard, tomato paste

  10. 10

    Blend in sour cream

  11. 11

    Add mushrooms, cook for about 5-10 minutes until the mushrooms soften

  12. 12

    Add meat

  13. 13

    Cool quickly

  14. 14

    Serve over rice or noodles
