Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspolive oil
  2. 1/4to 1/2 teaspoon salt
  3. 1/4 tsppepper
  4. 1 tbspchili powder
  5. 1(15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. 2

    Pour the drained chickpeas into a medium mixing bowl.

  3. 3

    Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove as much moisture as you can.

  4. 4

    Toss the chickpeas with the olive oil, chili powder, salt, and pepper.

  5. 5

    Roast for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the pan several times, until the chickpeas are just browned and crispy outside, but not burned.

    Serve warm or at room temperature.

    *I use chili powder for a coating, but you can substitute Cajun seasoning, garam masala, or any spice mix you prefer.*

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
