Put water to boil with salt and oil.

Then add rice and boil for 30 minutes. Then add in the diced cubicles carrots.

Cover and boil for a further 5 minutes. After 5 minutes if the rice is soft serve. But if not continue cooking for further 5 minutes while you have covered
