Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 1/2 cupsugar
  2. 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  3. 1 tspground cinnamon
  4. 1/2 tspground ginger
  5. 1/4 tspground cloves
  6. 1/8 tspground nutmeg
  7. 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 2eggs
  9. 2 cuppumpkin puree
  10. 1 canevaporated milk
  11. 1 eachpie crust

    Mix dry ingredients

  2. 2

    Beat eggs slightly in a bowl

  3. 3

    Slowly add pumpkin and dry ingredients mixing with a spoon.

  4. 4

    Add evaporated milk and mix

  5. 5

    Pour into pie crust (homemade or store bought).

  6. 6

    Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.

  7. 7

    Lower temperature to 350 and bake an additional 30-40 minutes until a knife comes out clean when poked.

  8. 8

    Let cool for 2 hours before refrigerating.

  9. 9

    Add toasted pumpkin seeds on top (optional). I toasted mine with olive oil, salt, sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg.
