#DiwaliDelights.. What you people call Mathri or Namkeen Puri is known as Farsi Puri in Gujarat. You all know it is kind of dry snack, mostly had with tea. I tried my hands on it first time. Lets see how I made them.

#DiwaliDelights.. What you people call Mathri or Namkeen Puri is known as Farsi Puri in Gujarat. You all know it is kind of dry snack, mostly had with tea. I tried my hands on it first time. Lets see how I made them.
Steps

Mix all above ingredients and knead dough. Make sure it is neither soft nor very hard. But medium and whe and you press it gives you feeling of touching an eraser.

Remember well, as much Moyan of ghee is there, the puri will be softer and smooth. keep the dough covered till 2 to 3 hrs.

Make smaller size of balls (even smaller than lemon) and roll them gently. Make sure they are not rolled too thin. Keep them little thick. Make holes in it with help of Fork or knief.

Fry them deep till they get golden colour. Serve when they are cool with tea..
