Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupbutter, softened
  2. 3 ozcream cheese, softened
  3. 1 cupall-purpose flour
  4. 2/3 cuppacked brown sugar
  5. 1 tbspbutter, melted
  6. 1 tspgrated orange peel
  7. 1/2 cupchopped pecans
  8. 1/2 cupfresh or frozen cranberries- thawed
  9. 1egg

  1. 1

    In small bowl, cream the butter & cream cheese until blended. Gradually beat in flour. Refrigerate covered 30 min.

  2. 2

    Preheat oven to 350° . Shape dough into 1" balls. Place in greased mini muffin cup. Press evenly into bottoms and up sides.

  3. 3

    In small bowl, beat egg, brown sugar, melted butter, orange peel. Spoon 1&1/2 tsp.filling each cup Top with cranberries.( I put 1&half in mine. I cut them in half).

  4. 4

    Bake 20-25 min or until golden brown. Cool in pans. Remove to cool. ( Freeze cookies layered between wax papers .)
